There is a local outdoor supply / army surplus store that is going out of business. This weekend was there final sale and things were down to 90% off. Given we like to hike and camp so much and the kids are constantly outgrowing boots I jumped on the opportunity. I ended up with 9 pairs of boots, 2 T-Shirts, 18 D batteries and a pair of Carhart work pants for $58.36. Including a pair of size 14 black jungle boots for myself. Not sure when I will need jungle boots but they were only $5. We also got a new airmatress a coupl weeks ago at like 40% off. I waited too long for the tent and camp stove I had my eye on, I got greedy waiting for bigger discounts.

Weekend Project - Jeep Mod Phase 1
This weekend I decide to finally install the CB radio I forgot I bought about 4 years ago and found when unpacking a box in the garage. I bought it for offroad trail ridding as most 4x4 clubs require you have one. I did actually go on a couple trips back in Ohio and am planning on doing more now that the jeep is almost paid off. It only took 3 trips to radio shack and one trip to Home Depot to complete the project. I also added the following tools to my collection: step down drill bit, new shop light, a soddering iron and an SWR meter. I still need to mount the control box in a permanent location under the dash, the quick disconnect for the handheld unit somewhere on the dash and the mic hanger but I wanted to drive around with it loose for a few days to be sure of where it all would work best. The original tires are getting worn so phase two will be a lift, new wheeles and tires. Hopefully within the next month providing the final 06 tax numbers from the accountant arent too bad. Caps Game
Last Thursday Zach's hockey team got to play a game on the ice at the Verison center where the Washington Capitals Play. We also had tickets t the game that night, Caps won in OT. Here are a few shots.

Walked up the main drag, had dinner, walked down the main drag, saw a lot of not famous people, tried to walk into a private party at a club and got nabbed then went home... 
Utah Jazz Game
Utah Jazz Vs Minnesota Timberwolves Monday Night. Got great seats about 10 rows behing the Jazz bench. Minnesota coach was fired the next day.
